What began in 2015 as our shared love for design has grown into a family-run studio that creates timeless, characterful interiors. Our inspiration comes from the simple joys of life; long walks in the countryside, the smell of rain on old stone, and the quiet beauty of open fields.
Our ethos is rooted in care: care for the environment, for the materials we choose, and for the stories homes can tell. We love working with reclaimed and responsibly sourced materials, partnering with brands that are committed to sustainability, and layering in elements that feel natural and enduring.
For us, design is about more than just how a home looks, it’s about how it feels to live in it. We blend old and new, playful colour and texture, antiques and natural materials, to create homes that feel authentic, warm, and full of life.
Stephany is the heart of The Style Brush, known for her eye for detail and her belief that good design should feel both timeless and effortless. Guided by her motto, “Nurture Nature,” she draws endless inspiration from the changing seasons, English gardens, and the quiet beauty of the countryside.
With a background in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Interior Design, Stephany brings a creative depth to her work. Her designs are layered with colour, texture, and character, always with a focus on creating interiors that feel lived-in, welcoming, and enduring.
Outside the studio, you’ll most often find her in the garden, sketchbook in hand, observing how nature shifts and transforms with time. This love for the natural world flows into her interiors ; not as fleeting trends, but as spaces built to last, rooted in beauty, comfort, and authenticity.
Michalis is the other half of the creative duo behind The Style Brush Interior Design. Trained in architecture before discovering his true calling in interiors, he brings a sharp eye for proportion, structure, and detail to every project. Since co-founding the studio in 2015, his passion has been creating spaces that feel lasting, layered, and full of character.
Deeply inspired by the English countryside, Michalis has a particular love for reclaimed materials and antiques ; elements that carry stories and bring authenticity to a home. He believes the most beautiful interiors are those that feel collected over time, where old and new come together in harmony.
His approach is thoughtful and hands-on, whether it’s sourcing a one-of-a-kind piece, experimenting with natural materials, or refining the small details that make a house feel like home. For Michalis, design is about more than aesthetics; it’s about creating spaces that reflect a way of life ; timeless, grounded, and welcoming.

Our studio, lovingly called “The Nook,” is nestled in Groves Yard in Milton-under-Wychwood , a place full of history, charm, and community spirit. Set within the Alfred Groves & Sons buildings, the yard feels like a hidden gem where tradition and craftsmanship still thrive, and that energy inspires us every day.
Inside The Nook, we’ve created a cosy meeting space that also serves as a little exhibition of our world; with fabrics, materials, antiques, and design details layered across the room. It’s more than just an office; it’s a place where ideas take shape, conversations flow, and where our love for timeless interiors comes to life.
