HOW WE WORK
We recognise that every project and client brief is unique, and we tailor our approach accordingly. Each project is treated individually, with careful attention to the client’s needs and the specific requirements of the design. Guided by this philosophy, we follow the structured design process outlined below.
CONCEPT DESIGN
1.CONCEPT DESIGN
During the concept design phase, we immerse ourselves in understanding both the project and the client’s brief. This stage allows us to capture the client’s preferences, aspirations, and requirements, which we then shape into a clear and cohesive design vision.
Often the most detailed stage of the process, we carefully develop layouts and ideas for each space within the property. Clients are presented with drawings and visual boards for every room, alongside a comprehensive design direction that outlines the style, materials, and overall aesthetic of both permanent and flexible elements throughout the home.
DETAIL DESIGN
2.DETAIL DESIGN
Once the Concept Design has been approved, we move into the Design Development phase, where the approved vision is further refined and detailed.
In this stage, initial sketches and renderings are developed into precise technical drawings and specifications. We focus on the finer details of every design element, preparing specification schedules, defining budgets, and producing comprehensive technical documentation for all aspects agreed upon during the Concept Design stage.
3.PROCUREMENT AND FF&E
Following the completion of the Detail Design stage, we move into the Procurement phase, where all specified items for the project are carefully sourced and ordered.
This includes everything from furniture, lighting, and accessories to hardware and approved fixed elements. Throughout this phase, we also coordinate with tradespeople and craftsmen, ensuring that each item is delivered accurately and on schedule, keeping the project running smoothly.
4.INSTALLATION AND STYLING
Finally, we reach the most rewarding part of the design journey: the installation and styling phase.
During this stage, all selected items are carefully placed in each room, and we add the finishing touches that bring the design to life. Accessories, artwork, and decorative details are thoughtfully arranged to ensure the space reflects the original concept, achieving the agreed-upon aesthetic and creating a home that feels complete and harmonious.
