A forgotten building at the back of the garden, reimagined.

This once-derelict outbuilding had little purpose beyond being an overlooked corner of the property. 

We saw an opportunity to turn it into something much more useful: an independent space for additional accommodation, separate from the main house but still firmly rooted within its garden setting.

The design takes cues from traditional Cotswold outbuildings, pitched rooflines, timber cladding, brickwork, dark-framed windows and natural, weathered materials, creating something that feels as though it has always belonged here.

Whether it becomes a guest suite, a teenage retreat, a home office, a creative studio or simply a quiet place to escape to, a well-designed outbuilding can add a surprising amount of value and versatility to a home.
